GREENCASTLE, PA. - A Fort Littleton, Pa., couple died after a traffic accident late Saturday that left their grandson injured, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The 10 p.m. crash at Buchanan Trail West and Hill Road in Greencastle was the second accident at the site in three years to claim two lives.

Harvey Seville, 60, drove a 1993 Chevrolet Corsica into the rear of a tractor-trailer that was turning left, police said. Seville and his wife, Madeline Seville, 57, a passenger in the front seat, died at a local hospital, police said.

The Sevilles' 10-year-old grandson, Ian Seville of Fort Littleton, was in the back seat of the car and was taken to a local hospital, police said. A friend of the family speaking from the couple's home Sunday said the boy had been released.

Scott Gingrich of Greencastle, Pa., was driving the tractor-trailer. Police said he was not injured.

Police said the Sevilles and their grandson were not wearing seat belts.

The family friend said the Sevilles and their grandson had been shopping in Hagerstown and were on their way home at the time of the crash.

The Sevilles had three daughters, a son who is deceased and six grandchildren, the friend said.

In July 2003, two Greencastle-area residents were killed when their car turned into the path of a tractor-trailer on Buchanan Trail West at the Hill Road intersection.

The pair, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, were westbound when the driver turned left onto Hill Road, police said. The passenger side of the car was hit by an eastbound tractor-trailer, and the two were thrown from the vehicle, police said.
