Citicorp Credit Services Inc.

Working Mother Magazine in its October issue named Citigroup one of the 100 best companies for working mothers.

This marks Citigroup's 16th consecutive year on the list.

The operations center in Hagerstown has been mentioned in the magazine for its state-of-the-art child-care center, and this year the Hagerstown site was acknowledged for its Working Parents Network, a support and networking group for the employees at Citi in Hagerstown.

Other working-mother-friendly initiatives at Citigroup were mentioned in the Working Mother article - more formalized alternative work arrangements such as job-sharing, remote working, and flex guidelines; "new moms" and adoptive care-givers benefits; and more.

Citicorp in Hagerstown is one of Citigroup's North American Consumer Business operations centers. The Citicorp Family Center in Hagerstown is one of the country's largest corporate day-care centers.


Waste Management

UPTON, Pa. - The week of Aug. 20-26 was "Operation Safety Excellence II" at Waste Management.

At Mountain View Reclamation, the local Waste Management landfill in Upton, employees were rewarded with a catered luncheon for remaining injury free for more than 950 days.

Mountain View Reclamation's staff of 16 employees has more than 200 years of combined landfill industry experience.

The week of Operation Safety Excellence provided an opportunity for the management team to show appreciation to the men and women of the Mountain View team.

Neighborhood Welcome

Neighborhood Welcome LLC, a company designed to connect the community's local businesses to its newest residents, is expanding into Washington County.

Neighborhood Welcome, a newcomer greeting service, greets new residents by visiting with them in their homes and presenting to gift bags filled with coupons, free gifts and offers from some of the area's merchants and professionals, as well as local information.

Washington County will be divided up into five package areas - Hagerstown North, Hagerstown South, Washington County East, Washington County West and Washington County South.

Mid-Atlantic ProTel

Mid-Atlantic ProTel, a Cingular Wireless authorized retailer, has opened two new stores.

On Sept. 22, Mid-Atlantic ProTel opened a store in the Rouzerville Commons Shopping Center in Waynesboro, Pa. On Sept. 29, the company opened a store on Massey Boulevard, across from Valley Mall in Hagerstown.

Mid-Atlantic ProTel has 14 stores throughout West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. In addition to cellular phones, data devices and pagers, Mid-Atlantic ProTel also offers a 24/7 telephone answering service provided by InTouch Call Center.

CNB Financial Services

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - CNB Financial Services Inc., the parent company of Citizens National Bank of Berkeley Springs, announced it had consolidated net income of $629,000, or $1.37 per share, for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2006.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, CNB has consolidated net income of $1.9 million, or $4.12 per share.

CNB had total net assets of $277.6 million as of Sept. 30.
