North Side Mennonite Church, Marlin "Butch" Neil will be the guest speaker at 7 p.m. this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. There will be special music each night.

Shepherdstown (W.Va.) Train Station, the Faith Forum series on world religions will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. This week, Judaism will be explored. Rabbi Fred Raskind will be the speaker.

The Shepherdstown Lutheran Parish is sponsoring this series which will continue on six consecutive Thursdays through Nov. 2.

Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8916 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, members and former members are invited to homecoming celebration events today which include the Sabbath morning service featuring Lonnie Melashenko, speaker/director of the Voice of Prophecy radio broadcast.

A time for remembering the 97-year history of the church begins at 2 p.m. today.

Marlowe (W.Va.) Assembly of God, The Wacky World Kids Crusade will begin this Sunday and continue through Wednesday at 6:30 nightly.


Special guests will be Bryant and Holly Markie with puppets, drama, stories, games and prizes. The family-style program is geared for children 4-14.

Beaver Creek Christian Church, the Beaver Creek Quilters are holding a raffle of their recently-completed log cabin quilt at the church's harvest festival Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit breast cancer awareness. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or six for $5.
