Task force agents arrest men on drug charges

A man, a pit bull, 15 pounds of marijuana and packaging materials were allegedly found in a commercial garage in the 1200 block of West Washington Street Thursday, according to a Washington County Narcotics Task Force news release.

At 1425 Kensington Drive, apartment 102, in Hagers-town, agents allegedly found a woman, a small child, a small bag of marijuana and more than $12,000 in cash, the release states.

The discoveries Thursday were made using search warrants obtained as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged drug dealing from the 1219 West Washington Street garage, agents said.

Fitzwarren Dwayne Milton, 26, aka John Milton, of 1425 Kensington Drive, apartment 102, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to distribute marijuana and conspiracy for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, the release states.

Police arrested Milton as he was walking from a store in a parking lot off Pennsylvania Avenue, the release states.

Sherman Lee Lynn, 38, of 919 Kenly Avenue in Hagers-town, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, conspiracy for: possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance, agents said.

Police allegedly found Lynn standing with a pit bull in the garage where the 15 pounds of marijuana - cut up into one-pound bags - were found. Agents said packaging materials and digital scales were also found in the garage, which was allegedly used for the past six months as a packaging site. The marijuana found in the garage has a street value of $15,000, the release states.
