How difficult is it for you to balance athletics with your academic requirements?

"It's pretty easy actually. Practice only lasts until 4:30, then I study."

Who has had the biggest influence on your life?

"My parents. They have always given me all the help that I need."

Why do you like the sport you play?

"I find that it's kind of a challenge, also it's very therapeutic."

How much time do you invest in practicing on your own?

"Over the summer I run about 3-5 miles a day, over the course of the whole summer I run anywhere from 200 to 300 miles."


Where is your favorite place to hang out?

"At the gym, playing basketball."

What is your proudest moment, on or off the field?

"The Oatlands race. There were over 200 runners, I finished in the top 20."

Do you have any prerace rituals?

"A day before each race I eat spaghetti, and I try not to eat four hours before the race."
