"I am listening to Paul Harvey on the news AM station, and he found out, with the war on drugs everywhere, High Point, N.C., has cracked down and has actually pretty much eliminated the majority of the drug dealers. They have a program that was presented to them by a psychology professor, David Kennedy, from New York. His way of thinking actually did work in High Point, N.C., to the effect that the drug dealing is just about not there now. Pull it up on the Internet and see what procedure they used. I think we could use that in Hagerstown. I think we definitely need it." - Hagerstown

"I don't care about the Washington Redskins or the New Orleans Saints. This is the second time this year the Ravens haven't been on TV, and Antietam Cable has yet to show a Maryland college football game. We live in Maryland - I'm quite sure someone's getting it. How comes we're not? My buddy has that Direct TV and he gets all those games. I figure it's time that all of us change over."

"I've been a Redskins fan for 45 years. I just got finished watching this game. It's the most disgusting game I've ever seen. A good young team in Tennessee just beat up on all the high-priced free agents. To all you Dallas fans, congratulations. At least you won't have to listen to T.O. cry - he got three touchdowns. He won't cry - he'll be all smiles." - Hagerstown

"Whoever does Howell Road, please tell me that they're not gonna leave that road like that. They graded it like they're gonna redo it and overlay it, but then they put lines on it at the same time. That's almost like driving on a gravel road." - Hagerstown
