MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A man wanted on several West Virginia felony warrants and also suspected by the U.S. Marshal's Office of crimes was captured Friday morning in Berkeley County, W.Va.

The Sheriff's Department said deputies worked with the U.S. Marshal's Office on the more-than-30-day manhunt to arrest Thomas Norman Fowler.

Police said Fowler was wanted in West Virginia on warrants charging him with two counts of breaking and entering, grand larceny and one count of felony destruction of property.

He also was charged with two misdemeanors, including fleeing on foot and possession of less than 15 grams of a controlled substance.

He was arrested in a Berkeley County home off of Shepherdstown Road, police said.
