Calvin Coolidge Colts (2-4) at No. 1 Martinsburg Bulldogs (5-1)

When: Today, 7 p.m.

Series: First meeting.

Last week: The Colts lost to Wilson, 6-0. ... The Bulldogs beat Park View, 14-7.

Notes: The Colts have been involved in a shutout each of their last five games, twice on the winning end, three times on the losing end. The Colts are averaging just over 10 points per game, while allowing just over 20 per game. The Bulldogs held Park View RB Deric Dudinski, the leading rusher in the Washington area, to 41 yards on 21 carries. Dudinski ran for 406 yards the previous week. Bulldogs RB Josh Twyman ran for 159 yards - his sixth straight game over 100 - and a TD. Dustin Peters hooked up with Xavier Peters for a 45-yard TD for the Bulldogs' other TD. The Bulldogs defense is allowing an average of 14.5 points per game, third-best in the area behind Greencastle (10.2) and Jefferson (12.9).


No. 2 Greencastle Blue Devils (4-2) at East Pennsboro Panthers (2-4)

When: Today, 7:30 p.m.

Series: Greencastle leads, 5-3.

Last meeting: 2005 - Greencastle, 21-20 (OT).

Last week: The Blue Devils beat Susquenita, 19-6. ... The Panthers beat Shippensburg, 20-12.

Notes: The Blue Devils have won the last three meetings. ... The Blue Devils are allowing only 10.2 points per game this season, best in the area. They have allowed nine touchdowns all season, and only four in the last four games. The defense surrendered just 5 yards on the ground in the win over Susquenita. RB Dustin Barry had his second straight two-touchdown game last week while filling in for injured starter Conrad Myers. Panthers QB Nick Pisani threw for 186 yards and two TDs in the win over Shippensburg. The Panthers rolled up 323 yards against Shippensburg.

No. 3 Boonsboro Warriors (4-1) at Catoctin Cougars (4-1)

When: Today, 7 p.m.

Series: Boonsboro leads, 23-12-1.

Last meeting: 2005 - Boonsboro, 42-6.

Last week: The Warriors beat Williamsport, 23-0. ... The Cougars beat Smithsburg, 48-26.

Notes: The Warriors have won nine of the last 10 meetings and 16 of 20. ... The Warriors fumbled 10 times in their win over Williamsport, losing three. But the defense picked up the offense after their mistakes, holding the Wildcats to just 28 yards. Mike DeBarge accounted for 16 of the Warriors' 23 points last week, scoring two TDs, kicking a 30-yard field goal and adding a point-after conversion. The Cougars took advantage of special teams gaffes by Smithsburg, recovering two of their own kickoffs in the first quarter which led to quick touchdowns. Nick Stiles scored four TDs for the Cougars, giving him 12 on the season. The Cougars rolled up 392 yards offense, the second straight week they have approached the 400-yard mark. The Cougars gained 379 yards against Williamsport on Sept. 30.

Keyser Golden Tornado (4-2) at No. 4 Berkeley Springs Indians (4-2)

When: Today, 7 p.m.

Series: Keyser leads, 7-4.

Last meeting: 1998 - Keyser, 46-8.

Last week: The Golden Tornado beat Southern Garrett, 47-0. ... The Indians beat Westmar, 42-7.

Notes: The teams played every year from 1988 to 1998. The Golden Tornado have won the last three meetings. ... The Tornado won two straight to open the season, lost two in a row, and enter tonight's game on a two-game winning streak. ... Brandon Roy and Preston Hartman each scored two TDs in the Golden Tornado's win over Southern Garrett. Jeremy Green ran for 117 yards and a TD. Indians QB Nathan Sirbaugh completed four passes - all for TDs - for 228 yards in the win over Westmar. Cody Hess ran for 168 yards and scored twice - one rushing and one receiving. Indians K John Wise is 25-for-25 in point-after conversions this season.

No. 6 North Hagerstown Hubs (3-2) at Williamsport Wildcats (1-4)

When: Today, 7 p.m.

Series: North Hagerstown, 13-6.

Last meeting: 2005 - North Hagerstown, 30-0.

Last week: The Hubs beat Brunswick, 27-0. ... The Wildcats lost to Boonsboro, 23-0.

Notes: The Hubs have won the last six meetings. ... The Hubs have bounced back from a two-game losing streak to win their last two games. The Hubs are fourth in the Maryland Class 2A West playoff ratings. The top four teams in each region advance to the playoffs. QB Logan Kelso threw three TD passes - two to Jarell Hasan - in the win over Brunswick. Diez Johnson ran for 82 yards and a TD. Cadyn Robinson set a school record with 23 tackles. The Wildcats have lost four straight since their season-opening win over Hancock. The Wildcats managed just 28 total yards in their loss to Boonsboro. The Wildcats were unable to capitalize on Boonsboro's mistakes. The Warriors fumbled 10 times, but Williamsport recovered only three and did not convert any into points.

No. 7 Hedgesville Eagles (2-4) at Musselman Applemen (1-6)

When: Today, 7 p.m.

Series: Musselman leads, 26-14 (since 1964).

Last meeting: 2005 - Hedgesville, 7-0.

Last week: The Eagles did not play. They lost to Fort Hill 14-7 on Sept. 30. ... The Applemen lost to Bridgeport, 28-7.
