Found animals

The following animals were found and brought to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you have lost your pet and you think your pet is among those listed below, please come to the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road, as soon as possible.

Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.


No. 08 - Cat, young adult, gray and biege tabby, found on North Locust Street.

No. 38 - Cat, young adult, black, brown and gray tabby, found on Spielman Road.

No. 55 - Kitten, gray and black tabby, found on Longmeadow Road.

No. 57 - Kitten, orange tabby, found on St. Paul Road.

No. 62 - Kitten, black, orange and white tortoiseshell, found on Upper Edgemont Road.


No. 63 - Cat, juvenile, black, orange and white calico, found on Guilford Avenue.

No. 69 - Cat, young adult, black and white, found on South Cannon Avenue.


No. 41 - Pit-pointer mix, adult, white and liver, found on Countryside Drive.

No. 54 - Border collie, adult, black and white, found on South Artizan Street.
