'Catch Me If You Can'

Pirates and a paradox


Zane Oberholzer Jr. plays Major Gen. Stanley, Sarah Schofield plays Mabel, Michael Kozlowski plays Frederic, and Earl Moreland Jr. plays the pirate king in the Washington County Playhouse production of "Pirates of Penzance." The classic light opera by Gilbert and Sullivan is a comic story of an aristocratic boy turned apprentice pirate amid bumbling policemen, soft-hearted pirates and an eccentric member of the British aristocracy.

Showtimes on Fridays and Saturdays begin with dinner at 6 p.m.; the show is at 7:30; dinner on alternate Sundays begins at 1 p.m. with the show following at 2:30. Performances continue through Saturday, Nov. 11.
