Inmates walkathon

On Sept. 23, Carolyn Brooks, coordinator of C-SAFE in Washington County and her husband visited the Maryland Correctional Training Center and participated in the inmate walkathon that benefited at-risk youth in our community. For the fifth annual C-SAFE walkathon, approximately 146 inmates walked or ran laps around the courtyard in support of the C-SAFE program and collected $815. Acting Assistant Warden Gregg Hershberger presented the check to Brooks.
