Lincolnshire Elementary hosts Intergeneration Day

October 11, 2006

An Intergeneration Day was held recently at Lincolnshire Elementary School.

More than 30 people participated, including 18 first- and second-grade students from Lincolnshire. Easter Seal Community Outreach Director Erin Teach brought 13 clients.

All attendees took part in hands-on arts and crafts projects and took their creations home with them.

Instructors, provided by the Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery Inc, included: Mr. and Mrs. David Ross, who taught caricature drawing; January Righter, who taught hand weaving; Diane Hamilton and daughter, who taught craft-art from recyclable items; and James and Cathy Rummel, who gave a demonstration on landscape painting using Bob Ross techniques.
