U-Md. plans horse conference Nov. 18

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland will hold the second annual Maryland Horse Conference on Saturday, Nov. 18.

The event will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md.

Throughout the day, various seminars on equine-related topics will be presented by leading experts in the equine field, the university said in a news release. Keynote speaker Don Blazer is to speak about the Nine Secrets of Perfect Horsemanship.

Admission costs $30 for each adult and $20 for each youth - for registrations by Nov. 4. All will receive a conference proceedings paper, morning refreshments, and lunch.
