Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups

Maryland 77 Hagerstown Chapter, today, weigh-in at 7:30 a.m., exercise at 8:30 a.m., meeting at 9:30 a.m., First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave., Hagerstown. The group meets every Monday. WILLIAMSPORT - Maryland Chapter 454, Tuesday, Oct. 10, private weigh-in is 10:15 to 11 a.m., meeting is 11 a.m. to noon, Zion Lutheran Church, 35 W. Darkness Into Sunshine

BOONSBORO - Second Tuesday, Oct. 10, 11 a.m. to noon, and fourth Thursday, Oct. 26, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., 215 N. Main St. A group also meets the second Wednesday of the month, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Office of Consumer Advocates, 265 Mill St., Hagerstown. The groups offer support to individuals and their families affected by mental illness. Additionally, the OCA offers advocacy, education on services, transportation, drop-in centers and food pantries. Parents Learning Together (PLT)

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m. The club is a national nonprofit support group for mothers who stay home with their children. The group's activities are for mothers and their children.
