Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.


No. 18 - Young adult, gray and white bicolor, found on Berner Avenue.

No. 19 - Juvenile, gray tabby with white, found on Berner Avenue.

No. 20 - Adult, white and black, found at Robinwood Medical Center.

No. 21 - Young adult, black and white, found on Park Street.

No. 31 - Kitten, gray and white bicolor, found on Old National Pike.

No. 42 - Juvenile, orange tabby, found on Highpoint Drive.


No. 44 - Adult, black and orange tortoiseshell, found on Highpoint Drive.

No. 52 - Juvenile, gray tabby, found on Belview Avenue.

No. 53 - Juvenile, black, found on Pinehill Road.

No. 60 - Adult, black, found on Youngstoun Drive.

No. 65 - Juvenile, beige and black tabby, found on Cearfoss Pike.

No. 66 - Juvenile, black and white, found on Garis Shop Road.

No. 74 - Juvenile, gray, black and orange torbie, found on Washington Avenue.

No. 85 - Senior, black, found on Main Avenue in Hagerstown.


No. 55 - Rottweiler-husky mix, adult, black and brown, found on Harpers Ferry Road.

No. 81 - Boxer mix, adult, brown and white, found on George Street.
