CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Andy Lytle scored on an assist from Nick Bunting and Kenny Frederickson recorded 13 saves as Grace (10-1-1, 9-1-1) defeated CVCS in an MDCC game.

Berkeley Springs 11, Keyser 1

KEYSER, W.Va. - Ian Whibley and Matt Martin each had three goals and Josh Wise had six assists as Berkeley Springs routed Keyser on Thursday night.

Eric Lyda, Clayton McCloed, Devin Walsh, Paul Truitt and Eric Duckwall each added a goal for the Indians (6-6-5).


Grace 3, CVCS 2

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Rebecca Morgan had 25 kills, 10 service points and 12 digs as Grace Academy remained undefeated with an 18-25, 25-20, 25-21, 19-25, 15-12 Mason Dixon Christian Conference victory.


Kristin Serafini had 22 assists and 12 kills while Amber Knuckles added 23 assists for the Knights (11-0, 10-0 MDDC). Megan Cox tallied 12 service points, 11 digs and nine kills and Lauren Cox had 16 digs in the win.

Shalom 3, New Life 2

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Rachel Lehman had seven kills, 14 digs, 13 service points and three aces as Shalom edged New Life 25-14, 25-20, 20-25, 19-25, 15-10 in an MDCC match.

Kaitlyn Etter had five kills and 12 service points, Alyssa Rohrer had 14 assists, eight service points and six digs and Monica Harsh had eight service points, four aces and four kills for the Flames.

Mercersburg 3, Goretti 0

Cree Riley had 11 kills, Lizz Harvey had 14 service points and Noelle Saracino had 11 service points for Mercersburg (5-5) in a 25-10, 25-12, 25-14 win over St. Maria Goretti.


In Friday's prep volleyball notes column, Musselman's team was mistakenly referred to as the "Eagles," which is Hedgesville's mascot. Hedgesville did not compete at last weekend's Capital Classic. The Herald apologizes for the error.
