Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., there will be a young adult celebration at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday.

Wednesday at 7 p.m., youth fun night and Bible study will be held at the Shepherdstown Youth Center.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will share a message on the topic, And the Answer Is ..., at the 9:30 a.m. service this Children's Day Sunday.

The Rev. Mark Mooney and his puppet friends will also be featured.

Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults are at 10:45 a.m. There will be a blessing of animals at 2 p.m. in the parking lot.

First Baptist Church, the Rev. Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, What Matters Most.
