September 27, 2006

A woman and two of her sons face drug charges after police allege they helped supply a confidential police informant with marijuana, according to the Washington County Narcotics Task Force and charging documents.

Theresa Ann Diehl, 39, of 39 S. Martin St. in Clear Spring, was charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs and engage a minor in a drug crime, agents said.

Joshua Michael Davis, 18, of the same address, was charged with two counts each of drug distribution, drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession and possession with the intent to distribute, agents said.

A 16-year-old boy is charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs, agents said.

Task force agents used a confidential police informant on Aug. 17 and on Sept. 1 to go to Diehl's house to buy marijuana from Davis, according to charging documents. The informant allegedly bought $40 worth of marijuana from Davis on Aug. 17, and $50 worth of marijuana on Sept. 1, a deal that police allege involved all three family members.
