Del. Locke Wysong, D-W.Va., clarified a statement made by a source in a story on page A1 of Tuesday's Morning Herald about voters in the Huntfield, Briar Run and Fairfax Crossing developments in Jefferson County, W.Va., being allowed to vote in the wrong state House of Delegates race in the May 9 primary election.

Del. Bob Tabb, D-W.Va., said the issue came to light when a resident of the Huntfield development was talking to Wysong about an issue. Tabb said Wysong told the woman that she needed to contact Tabb because Huntfield is in Tabb's district.

Wysong said Tuesday that the woman wanted him to come to her house to meet residents before the election, not to talk about a problem. Wysong said he has never turned away residents because they live in other districts.

Due to a reporting error, the phone number for Alsatia Club Mummers Parade President James McCleaf was incorrect in the Hometown Guide that was included in Sunday's Herald-Mail. The correct number is 301-797-3944.
