How difficult is it for you to balance athletics with your academic requirements?

"It's been really difficult. I have two AP classes, so I end up staying up late doing homework."

Who has had the biggest influence on your life?

"My dad. He's coached me, pushed me and made me better."

How much time do you invest in practicing on your own?

"Not much during the week because of schoolwork, but about 2 to 3 hours on Saturdays."

Where is your favorite place to hang out?

"I like going to football games at South."

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?

"Natasha Watley. I play shortstop in softball and she's a really good shortstop, so I look up to her."

Do you have any pregame rituals?

"I usually sit and think by myself. I concentrate on how the other team warms up."

Who do you listen to most on your Ipod?

"Country music."
