Man accused of viewing child porn on train

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Missouri man was being held in Eastern Regional Jail after he allegedly was seen viewing child pornography Friday while on an Amtrak train, according to a press release from the Martinsburg Police Department.

Brian Wayne Hohenstreet, 38, of Brentwood, Mo., was charged with one felony count of distribution and exhibiting of material depicting minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the release. A jail official said Hohenstreet was being held Saturday morning on $10,000 cash bond.

Police said they received a request Friday from Amtrak to meet an incoming train at the depot regarding a complaint of a man viewing child pornography on a laptop computer. Hohenstreet was taken into custody at the depot, according to the release.

A search warrant was issued by Magistrate Joan Bragg to seize the computer, a video camera, digital camera, a cellphone and compact discs that Hohenstreet had in his possession, according to the release.
