Heritage Hills

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Heritage Hills Retirement Community will host an informational seminar about Veterans Administration pension programs on Monday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m., at the retirement community, 2256 Shank's Church Road, Greencastle.

The seminar will be presented by Karen B. McIntyre, R.N., president and co-founder of Assisted Senior Placement Services Inc. of Woodstock, Ga.

Ryan Physical Therapy

Ryan Physical Therapy is holding its bi-monthly free community health seminar on Wednesday Sept. 27, starting at 7 p.m.

The seminar, entitled "Ten Steps to Living A Positive Lifestyle," will be presented by Steve Ryan, master of physical therapy, and will include a PowerPoint presentation.

The 90-minute workshop is intended to educate people on how to live life in a positive way so as to prevent disease and live a healthier life.

Hagerstown Community College's Technical Innovation Center (TIC), in conjunction with, will present a series of virtual seminars on a variety of marketing topics.

They are live broadcasts and include interactive question-and-answer periods. All seminars are free and open to the public. Each will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in conference room 208 of the TIC.

Sept. 28 - "Getting Google to Love Your Web Site ... Again."

Oct. 5 - "Evaluating Marketing Mix Tradeoffs: A Case Study of United Healthcare."
