Man accused of stealing vehicles waives hearing

One of three men facing charges of stealing and wrecking vehicles from a Hagerstown dealership waived a preliminary hearing Tuesday, according to Washington County District Court records.

Marc Anore Given Jr., 20, of 1401 Haven Road, Apt. C12 in Hagerstown, faces 38 charges, including counts of theft, burglary and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, according to a charging document.

Given and two other men allegedly totaled or damaged six used vehicles and two new trucks belonging to Sharrett Inc. at 10312 Auto Place in Hagerstown, according to the document. Other vehicles were broken into during the incident, which was reported July 27 at 8:48 a.m. by a manager at the car lot, according to the document.
