FREDERICK, Md. - Shelby Layman scored three goals as Smithsburg shut out Francis Scott Key.

Chelsea Hoover, Mia Doyle, Danielle Berk and Lauren Donley each scored for the Leopards (3-0). Donely had two assists, while Hoover and Berk each had one.

The win ties a school record 19 consecutive wins dating back to last season.

Martinsburg 4, Musselman 2

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Alaina Heck and Amy Wright each had a goal and assist to lead Martinsburg.

Kristen Marshall and Jamie Hill also scored a goal for the Bulldogs (3-6-2).

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Courtney Trainor had 15 service points and five kills as Southern Fulton defeated Bishop Walsh, 25-14, 25-15, 25-7.

Danielle DuBois had a game-high 11 kills to lead Broadfording in a 25-22, 25-13, 25-15 victory.

Becca Adams had 19 assists and Hannah Young and Emily Ahalt had six kills and five aces each for the Lions.

Catie Breslin had nine service points for the Gaels (0-5).

McConnellsburg 3, CVCS 2

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Amanda Price had 15 kills to bring McConnellsburg rallied in a five-game, 17-25, 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 15-8 victory over CVCS.

Sarah Paylor had 12 assists, Meagan Hughes had 10 assists and Michelle Baker had seven kills for the Spartans (4-1).

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Matt Kendall and Evan Mellott scored as McConnellsburg edged Everett. Joe Chaferdon had an assist for the Spartans (5-0).
