HCC partners with MIT to present broadcast

Hagerstown Community College's Technical Innovation Center has partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum and MIT's Program for Developmental Entrepreneurship to present a live broadcast titled "Global Entrepreneurship: Inefficiency as Opportunity in the Developing World."

The panel discussion will explore the opportunities for entrepreneurs in developing markets around the world, focusing on key areas such as:

How to do good, and make money, by identifying needs and solving inefficiencies affecting poor regions.

How to use the U.S. legal and financial system to go global.

How to overcome legal and government hurdles.

The broadcast will be Thursday, Sept. 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Hagerstown Community College's Technical Innovation Center, Conference Room 208, at 11400 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown.
