Frederick runs past North

FREDERICK, Md. - Kevin Fisher ran for two touchdowns to lead Frederick to a 28-7 victory over No. 2 North Hagerstown on Friday night.

With Frederick (1-1) leading 14-7 late in the third quarter, Quinton Ferguson scored on a 50-yard punt return.

Logan Kelso passed for 113 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for the Hubs (1-1), while Jarell Hasan added a touchdown reception and an interception.

No. 5 Jefferson 20, Broad Run 0

ASHBURN, Va. - Jonathan Hash threw a pair of touchdown passes - an 11-yarder to Justin Grantham in the first quarter and a 28-yard connection with Ryland Newman in the third - to lead Jefferson over Broad Run (1-2).

Dewey McDonald scored the final touchdown on a 1-yard run for the Cougars (2-2).

Bohemia Manor 28, No. 6 Williamsport 7

WILLIAMSPORT - Kyle McDannell returned a kickoff 83 yards for Williamsport's only touchdown in a loss to Bohemia Manor.


Each team is now 1-1.

MSD 14, St. James 6

FREDERICK, Md. - St. James' Jimmy Sutch rushed for 116 yards but the Saints (0-2) failed on three first-half red-zone opportunities in a loss to Maryland School for the Deaf.

Scott Lehman led MSD (3-0) with 136 yards rushing, including a game-deciding 44-yard TD in the third quarter.

James Wood 24, Musselman 14

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shontel Jackson rushed for 118 yards, including touchdown runs of 6 and 7 yards, for Musselman (1-3) in the loss to James Wood.

Hunter Rutherford rushed for 114 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown run, for James Wood (3-0).

Berkeley Springs 42, Northern Garrett 12

ACCIDENT, Md. - Cody Hess scored three times on touchdown runs of 4, 30 and 6 yards to lead Berkeley Springs past Northern Garrett.

Nathan Sirbaugh ran for a 5-yard touchdown for the Indians (2-2), and passed for two touchdowns - a 15-yard strike to Ryan Morris and a 30-yard pass to Foster Sirbaugh.

Corey Carr scored on a 2-yard run for the Huskies (1-1), while Brock Glotfelty scored on a 2-yard pass from Garrett Gulledge.

Cedar Cliff 21, Chambersburg 0

HIGHLAND PARK, Pa. - Chris Dixon scored two touchdowns on runs of 6 and 12 yards as Cedar Cliff defeated Chambersburg (0-3).

Jordan McClure scored on a 12-yard pass from Zach Pettis for the Colts (1-2).

Chambersburg has yet to score this season.
