New Life 3, Broadfording 2

FREDERICK, Md. - Hannah Young had 17 service points, 10 aces, nine digs, seven kills and four blocks as Broadfording Christian Academy fell to New Life Christian 25-18, 16-25, 25-14, 19-25, 12-15 in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference match.

Emily Ahalt had nine service points, seven kills and five digs for the Lions, while Jessica Spielman had eight service points, seven digs, five aces and two kills.

Danielle DuBois had eight service points, seven digs and five kills for the Lions (3-3), and Becca Adams added 10 assists, 13 digs and two aces.


Shalom 3, Calvary 0

CRESAPTOWN, Md. - Kaitlyn Etter had six kills and six assists and Shalom swept Calvary 25-20, 25-12, 25-11 in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference match.

Rachel Lehman had five kills and 11 service points, Alyssa Rohrer had 10 assists and 10 service points and Lydia Lawson and Monica Harnish had five kills each for the Flames.

Grace 3, Faith Christian 0

Kristin Serafini had 23 service points, 12 aces, 12 assists and four kills to lead Grace over Faith Christian 25-11, 25-7, 25-18 in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Rebecca Morgan had seven kills and Amber Knuckles had 12 service points, five aces and five assists for the Knights (11-0, 5-0).


Due to an editorial assistant's error, a North Hagerstown volleyball player was misidentified in Friday's Morning Herald. Karli Powers had 13 digs, 12 assists and 10 service points in the Hubs' victory over Clear Spring on Thursday. The Herald apologizes for the error.


Heritage 5, Emmanuel Baptist 2

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - Steven Barthalow scored three goals to lead Heritage Academy to a victory over Emmanuel Baptist.

J.R. Dudeck had a goal and an assist for the Eagles (3-2-1, 2-2-1 MDCC).

Jeff Crews scored both goals for Emmanuel Baptist.

Grace 5, Faith 0

Nick Bunting scored three to lead Grace Academy in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference victory over Faith Christian.

Andy Lytle scored two goals for the Knights (4-1-1, 3-1-1 MDCC), while Kenny Frederickson had 12 saves.
