Bulldog/Viking Roundup

Event features a truck show with more than 100 trucks, and "Drive-A-Truck-for-a-Buck," an opportunity to drive a big truck. Also includes a pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Bulldog beauty contest from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; self-guided plant tours; dunking booth; toy and model show; and free carnival rides. Festival for the Arts

Kickoff celebration in honor of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts' 75th anniversary. There will be entertainment in the Anne G. and Howard S. Canal Apple Days

The 30th annual Hancock Canal Apple Days Festival features vendors, music, dance, and an antique and classic car show. A parade will be today at 11 a.m. starting at the Park-N-Dine Restaurant on Main Street (Md. 144) and ending at Widmeyer Park. The Canal Apple Festival Dance will be today from 9 p.m. to midnight at Hancock American Legion Post 26, off Main Street near the Park-N-Dine Restaurant. Two Top Ruritan Club

The Two Top Ruritan Club steam and gas, flea market and craft show will be this weekend.
