Hagerstown Community College's $49 million fiscal 2007-2012 capital improvement plan includes the following projects, listed in approximate chronological order, with estimated costs in parentheses:
· Renovation of Career Programs Building, new traffic loop. About 6,000 square feet will be added. ($18.2 million)
· Expansion, modernization and restructuring of Classroom Building, science buildings and Kepler Theater. Separate buildings will be connected. About 39,000 square feet will be added to arts and sciences spaces. ($17.5 million)
· Second campus entrance on the southwest side ($2.0 million)
· New campus operations building for maintenance, garage and shop areas ($2.6 million)
· Upgrade athletic fields and track ($750,000)
· Repair roof and floor of Athletic, Recreation and Community Center and add seating ($500,000)
· Install air conditioning and upgrade heating and ventilation at Athletic, Recreation and Community Center ($900,000)
· Expand Children's Learning Center to triple its capacity ($2.4 million)
· Renovate Administration and Student Affairs building ($500,00)
