Sterner joins Interfaith Service Coalition

HANCOCK - At a recent board meeting, The Interfaith Service Coalition ("ISC") welcomed Bill Sterner as its newest member.

The athletic director and instructor at Hancock Middle-Senior High School, Sterner has experience as a schoolteacher, coach and athletic director, bringing knowledge and experience to the ISC board in effectively working with local youth.

Sterner will serve a three-year term.

"For some time, we have recognized the need for a liaison with our schools and Bill is going to be a perfect fit for us", says ISC Executive Director Deborah Cohill.

The Interfaith Service Coalition, an affiliated agency of the United Way of Washington County, Maryland, is a local nonprofit organization. Founded in 1989, the ISC assists individuals and families in need in the Hancock area.
