Boonsboro High School - 9/11 parade in Boonsboro.

Fountaindale Elementary - PTA meeting at 6:30 p.m. Smithsburg Middle School - SIT meeting at 3:35 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 12

Primary Election Day - Schools closed. Central offices open.

Salem Avenue Elementary - PTA meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Eastern Elementary - Volunteer orientation at 9 a.m.

Fountaindale Elementary - Girl Scout recruitment from 6 to 7 p.m.


Hickory Elementary - Student Support Team meeting at 9 a.m.

North Hagerstown High School - Band Boosters at 6 p.m.

Northern Middle - PTA meeting at 7 p.m.

Pangborn Elementary - PTA executive committee meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Springfield Middle - Vision screening.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Boonsboro High School - Orchestra Boosters at 7:30 p.m.

Eastern Elementary - Maryland Traveling Science Center programs at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; volunteer orientation at 5:30 p.m.

North Hagerstown High School - High Point University at 9 a.m.; choral meeting at 6 p.m.

Northern Middle - Outdoor color guard and marching band practice from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 15

Fountaindale Elementary - Rob Hovermale presentation on performance etiquette.

Old Forge School - Spirit and Pride shirt sale.

Smithsburg Elementary - Maryland Science Center assembly "Behind the Science" for grades kindergarten through two at 9:30 a.m., grades three through five at 1:15 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 16

Boonsboro High School - Band competition at Martinsburg (W.Va.) High School.

Clear Spring High School - Athletic Department sausage and pancake breakfast at 7 a.m.; tickets may be purchased at the door

Williamsport High School - Sophisti'Cats Show Choir cabaret show and spaghetti dinner from 4 to 8 p.m.
