Tri State Civitan Club

Monday, Sept. 11, 6 p.m., North American Rod & Gun Club, 12108 Belvedere Road, off Jefferson Boulevard, across from Maranatha Brethren Church, east of Hagerstown. The club meets the second Monday of each month and is open to the public. Its focus is helping people with developmental disabilities. The club's new fundraiser is a Scrip program. Purchasers may prepay for gift certificates to local and nationwide stores and restaurants for face value and the club receives a percentage. Habitat for Humanity's Women Build

Monday, Sept. 11, 6:30 p.m., Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown, corner of South Prospect Street and Washington Street. The group meets the second Monday of each month. David Gibney will speak about upcoming training classes. Beginning in October, meetings will be held at the Washington County Technical High School, Oak Ridge Drive, Hagerstown, at 6:15 p.m., prior to training classes.
