St. Catherine the Great Martyr Eastern Orthodox Church of Hagerstown, there will be vespers tonight at 6:30.

Father Dennis Buck will celebrate the Divine Liturgy of the 12th Sunday after Pentecost this Sunday at 10 a.m. Coffee Hour follows directly after Liturgy in the Fellowship Hall.

A baptism will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Wednesday and Friday are Fast Days.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday will feature the Rev. Carol Hallman speaking on the topic, The Tell Tale Heart.

Sunday school rally day is at 9:15 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, this Sunday Pastor Robert C. Jones will be speaking at the 10 a.m. service. The topic is Touch Me Lord, Part 1.

New Hope Church of Christ, 29 E. Salisbury St., Williamsport, Evangelist Thomas Huff will begin a series, Through the Bible, beginning this Sunday with Genesis.

The service and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m. in the old Williamsport Ambulance Company building at 29 E. Salisbury St. beside the post office. A meal will follow.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the meditation, Receiving and Doing, at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. communion services this Sunday.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Unity, Shepherdstown, W.Va., this Sunday at 11 a.m., theme of the service is Living Life on the High Wire.

Boonsboro Bible Church, 6741 Old National Pike, Pastor Rob Welty's topic this Sunday is A Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

Services include 8 a.m. traditional, 9 a.m. Solid Rock Cafe, 9:30 a.m. Sunday school and 10:35 a.m. contemporary praise worship.

The Praise Team and Band will bring music at 10:35 a.m.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday. The sermon topic will be Inside Out.

Children's church meets during the service. Fellowship and refreshments follow the service.

Welty Church of the Brethren, Greensburg, Pastor James Flora will be speaking this Sunday at 10:40 a.m. on the topic, Living With Pigs.

St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, the Rev. David C. Baker will be speaking at the 9:15 a.m. communion service this Sunday. The topic is Read My Heart as Well As My Lips.

The church picnic at Pen Mar Park will begin at noon. There will be no Sunday school this week.

St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preach this Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The later service will feature Ashley Myers, mezzo-soprano, and a piano/organ duet by Kathy McKinley and Mark King, respectively.

Christian education classes will resume Sept. 17.
