Bunting's OT tally lifts Grace over Broadfording

Nick Bunting scored the winning goal in overtime and Grace Academy defeated Broadfording 3-2 on Friday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference contest.

The Knights outshot Broadfording, 28-2. Andy Lytle and Pat Salvagno each scored a goal for Grace (1-0-1).

Martinsburg 3, Berkeley Springs 1

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Michael Seem, Kent LeMaster and Cody Sabol each scored second-half goals to lead the Bulldogs past the Indians on Wednesday.

LeMaster, Sabol and Jason Holliday each had an assist for Martinsburg (3-0).

Matt Martin scored a first-half goal off a Josh Wise assist for Berkeley Springs (2-2-1).


Grace 3, Broadfording 0

Kristin Serafini led Grace Academy with 12 service points, 17 assists and six kills in the Knights' 25-10, 25-14, 25-20 sweep of Broadfording to remain undefeated.

Megan Cox had 11 service points and six kills while Jennifer Waltz added 14 service points and five kills for Grace (8-0, 2-0 Mason-Dixon Christian Conference).


Taylor Shafer had 11 digs, Emily Ahalt had nine digs and Becca Adams added seven assists and six digs for the Lions (1-1).

Shalom 3, Heritage 0

Alyssa Rohrer had 13 assists, nine service points and four aces to lead Shalom Christian to a 25-10, 25-11, 25-15 sweep of Heritage Academy.

Kaitlyn Etter had 11 service points and seven kills while Monica Harnish added six kills for Shalom.


St. Xavier 3, Shepherd 0

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Shepherd University (0-5) was swept 33-31, 30-19, 34-32 by St. Xavier University (1-1) at the Lewis University Tournament.
