Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Darrell Morgan has joined Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA's Waynesboro office as a sales professional.

He attended the Institute of Real Estate Studies and recently completed Jack Gaughen's five-week training program.

Morgan, of Waynesboro, is licensed to list and sell all types of real estate in Pennsylvania.

Woodsboro Bank

WOODSBORO, Md. - Jody Yee has joined Woodsboro Bank as a vice president. He will serve as the bank's compliance officer.

Yee is responsible for the bank's overall compliance in matters relating to federal and state banking regulation.

Yee has been associated with the local banking industry for 20 years, working in capacities that include compliance, auditing and branch operation.

He has a bachelor of science degree from Harding University in Searcy, Ark., and later was credentialed in bank auditing, trust auditing and compliance at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.

Erie Insurance Group

ERIE, Pa. - Erie Insurance Group announced the appointment of Bruce E. Peterson, AIC, as vice president and claims manager in Hagerstown.

Peterson joined Erie in 1974 as a claims adjuster. He has been claims manager of the Hagerstown Claims Office since 1997 and was named assistant vice president in 2000.

He has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Maryland/Baltimore County in Catonsville, Md., and is pursuing the CPCU designation.

EZ Dumper Products

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - EZ Dumper Products LLC has named Shaun Werdebaugh Employee of the Month for May and Michael Rowe Employee of the Month for June.

Both were selected by production supervisors for excellence in productivity, attendance, safety, quality and assisting others.

Werdebaugh has been employed as a welder by EZ Dumper since 1999. Rowe, also a welder, has been with the company since 2004. Both are members of the safety committee.

Dr. J. R. Chambers II

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Dr. J. R. Chambers II, of Charles Town, was appointed to the board of advisers for West Virginia University School of Medicine. His three-year appointment began July 1.

Chambers graduated in 1983 from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He has operated his own practice in Charles Town since then.

He is a member of the American, West Virginia and Eastern Panhandle dental societies, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Society of Forensic Odontology. He is on the Peer Review Committee for the West Virginia Board of Dental Examiners.

Office Essentials

Ron Van Reenen, president of Office Essentials Inc., was invited to serve on an advisory council hosted by The Hon Company.

The meeting, attended by 12 people selected from across the United States, was held in Chicago.

Larry K. Parks has been promoted from sergeant to lieutenant. He has worked for the division for 22 years.

William W. Albright has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for five years.

Daniel N. Braithwaite has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for 23 years.

Dwayne E. Coulter has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for 19 years.

Pamela R. Raley has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. She has worked for the division for four years.

John R. Reamy has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for 11 years.

Richard D. Schoppert has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for nine years.

Shawn M. Sheppard has been promoted from corporal to sergeant. He has worked for the division for three years.

ABC

The Cumberland Valley Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. and the Cumberland Valley Technology Center held its apprenticeship graduation banquet on Aug. 10 at the Four Points Sheraton in Hagerstown.

ABC recognized 26 graduates from its four-year apprenticeship and craft program. The students received accreditation from the National Center for Construction Education Research, ABC, the Maryland Apprenticeship Training Council and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship Training. The graduates include:
