The Forcinos

Roger and Wilda Forcino of Hagerstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 1, 2006, at the Benevola United Methodist Church. The event was hosted by their children and spouses, Debbie and Rick Manning of Inwood, W.Va., Brenda and Dennis Embly of Hagerstown and Rodney Forcino of Hagerstown.

The Forcinos were married June 30, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagers-town.

Mrs. Forcino is the former Wilda Lewis. She was employed by Two Guys Department Store for 16 years and has been a day care provider for the past 24 years.

Mr. Forcino served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired from Jamison Door after 38 years of service.

They have four grandchildren.

The Bowerses

Tom and Harriette (Myers) Bowers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006. They were treated to dinner at the Old South Mountain Inn on Saturday, Feb. 11, and then surprised at an open house at their home on Sunday, Feb. 12, hosted by their children and spouses, Randy and Kristy Bowers, Robin and Doug Deadrick and Chuck Bowers; and their three grandchildren.


The Bowerses were married Feb. 12, 1956, at the United Methodist Church in Williamsport.

Mrs. Bowers retired in 1999 from the Hagerstown Post Office where she was a rural mail carrier for 25 years.

Mr. Bowers worked for Hershey's Ice Cream, First Federal Savings and Loan and is now employed as a real estate appraiser with William G. Bowen Inc.

The Muffleys

David and Theresa Muffley of Clear Spring celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows of commitment to each other in a ceremony Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the community building in Williamsport Park. The Rev. Joseph Quesenberry officiated. Their children, Mallory Muffley and Jonathan Muffley, participated in the ceremony.

Friends and family attended the ceremony and the reception that followed.

The Muffleys were married April 4, 1981, at Haven Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

Mrs. Muffley is employed by Washington County Public Schools.

Mr. Muffley is employed with Federal Mogul in Winchester, Va.
