There's no place like 'Oz'

Washington County Playhouse presents "The Wizard of Oz," the musical story of a girl from Kansas who flies over a rainbow to a magical land with witches and talking scarecrows. Whatever it takes

FREDERICK, Md. - A schoolgirl knocks off her classmate and begins her climb toward national stardom, aided by an overbearing agent and a cast of campy characters. 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and some Thursdays; and 2 p.m. some Sundays through Saturday, Sept. 23.
