Three options for Chambersburg School Board

The three school alignment options being considered by the Chambersburg Area School Board:

1. Build a middle school in Greenvillage, Pa.; use Faust Junior High School for ninth grade and alternative education programs; continue using Chambersburg Area Senior High School as a high school; send 700 to 1,000 students to the Franklin County (Pa.) Career and Technology Center for their vocational and academic classes.

2. Continuing using Chambersburg Area Middle School as it functions today; convert the career and technology center into a second high school; build a middle school in Greenvillage.

3. Build a high school in Greenvillage; continue using Chambersburg Area Senior High School as a high school; operate Faust Junior High School and Chambersburg Area Middle School as middle schools; send approximately 500 students to the career and technology center.
