CASCADE - Park officials are gearing up for the 29th annual Everybody's Day at Pen Mar Park, where thousands of people are expected to be Sunday, Aug. 27.
The festival includes puppet shows, a live orchestra, dance contests and a performance by the Hub City Lindy Hop Dancers. It commemorates the anniversary of the reopening of Pen Mar Park, said David Brooks, special events coordinator for Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation.
Last year, about 2,500 people attended, Brooks said.
