Michael Cassidy, Kate Mara, Spencer Breslin and Ryan Newman star in the latest superhero movie, "Zoom."

They play four misfit kids with superpowers, who earn a trip to the Academy for training in their powers. Dylan, aka Houdini, can turn himself and anything he touches invisble. Summer, aka Wonder, has telekinetic powers. Tucker, aka Mega Boy, can inflate any part of his body. Cindy, aka Princess, can lift pretty much anything from a tractor to, say, three elephants.

Jack Shepard (played by Tim Allen), aka Captain Zoom, is a former superhero who lost his powers. Now he teaches.

"Zoom" is a family comedy and adventure with comic characters and an easy-to-follow plot. Out of 10 stars, I would give it a perfect 10.
