The Crimson Belles of 1952, a Red Hat Society group with the distinction of all being members of the Hagerstown High School Class of 1952, meets once a month for lunch.

On Aug. 14, they shared afternoon tea at Wingrove Manor Bed & Breakfast on Oak Hill Avenue.

Candy Winton, who owns the bed and breakfast with her husband, Ken, served the women walnut and chocolate chip scones with Devonshire cream and jam, mini chicken-salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, mini cheesecakes, teatime tassies, meringues, punch and a selection of hot teas.

Each guest also received a Victorian fan as a favor.
