Q. What are the biggest challenges this year?

A. A challenge for Pangborn Elementary School will be to provide instruction to all students regardless of their academic levels. Each classroom teacher will receive training on how to deliver multiple levels of instruction within their classroom so that each student has instruction delivered to them at the appropriate level. Another challenge continues to be the needed space. With a growing population and limited classroom space, Pangborn continues to find ways to use all available space to its maximum level.

Q. What are your goals for the school year?

A. The goals for Pangborn Elementary are centered on providing appropriately leveled instruction to all students. Teachers must keep current on the latest methods of teaching and curriculum. In addition, Pangborn must also continue to increase parent involvement.

Q. What will help ensure a successful school year?

A. Our school must communicate our goals clearly to our staff, parents and students. We would like to increase our parent involvement, and continue to provide our students with a positive and safe environment so they can achieve at the highest level.

Q. What message would you like to send as the school year begins?

A. Our message to our students is to enter each day to learn and leave each day to achieve. Our message to our parents is to visit us often, get involved in our activities and help our staff to provide the best academic environment that we can offer.

Q. What special projects will occur during the school year?

A. Finally, our school's special project is our new building. Pangborn will get a new building for the school year 2008-09. Construction will begin this coming spring in the area just to the left of our current structure.
