How Franklin County districts are forming panels of community members to provide input on their tax structures:
· The Tuscarora School District will seat five or seven people on its panel. Letters of interest can be submitted to the superintendent at the district office.
"We're going to solicit for people in the community to serve," Tuscarora Superintendent Thomas Stapleford said.
· The Waynesboro Area School District will seat five people on its panel. The school board members are identifying people they feel fit the parameters but also are accepting letters of interest mailed to Bobbi Trostle's attention at the district office.
· The Greencastle-Antrim School District is using a committee to select the panel members. The number of members has not been decided, but the school board already decided not to have one of its members sit on the panel.
