Woodsboro Bank



WOODSBORO Md. - Woodsboro Bank recently expanded its financial services with the formation of Woodsboro Bank Investments, a new division of the financial institution that provides comprehensive financial planning and investment brokerage services.

Luke Becker, a certified financial planner with more than 20 years of investment experience, has been named to head the department.

Becker has been an associate vice president at Morgan Stanley and assistant vice president at Banc of America Investment Services.




Mid-Atlantic ProTel



SHEPHERDSTOWN, Md. - Mid-Atlantic ProTel held its 10th annual company picnic Sunday, July 30, at Morgan Grove Park in Shepherdstown, W.Va. More than 130 people attended the event.

The company employs more than 60 people in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.




Pangborn Corp.



Pangborn Corp., which is based in Hagerstown, has been awarded a major contract at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Ala.

The contract calls for Pangborn to remove existing rooms, ductwork and ventilation equipment. Structural modifications will be made to provide room for three complete air-blast rooms that will incorporate the latest air-blast technology and ventilation equipment.




Giant Food Store/Martin's Food Market



CARLISLE, Pa. - Giant Food Store and Martin's Food Market has completed its rollout of supplying its stores with Staples office supplies.

The Staples office supply department has signs with Staples' red and white logo. Customers can choose from nearly 500 items, including office supplies, computer accessories and mailing boxes.

Giant Food Stores LLC, with headquarters in Carlisle, is one of four retail-operating companies under Ahold USA.




Office Suppliers Inc.



Officers Suppliers Inc. has a new office furniture outlet at 18505 Maugans Ave. A grand opening for the store is to be held Saturday, Sept. 2.

The outlet store will offer a variety of new, gently used and discontinued home office and commercial furniture as well as refurbished copiers and fax machines.

Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The phone number is 301-671-2065.
