August 09, 2006|by ERIN JULIUS

The Hagerstown City Council discussed a flow transfer agreement between the city and Washington County for the new Washington County Hospital at its meeting Tuesday night.

The agreement allows for 120,000 gallons per day to be transferred.

After discussion among the council members, Mayor Robert E. Bruchey II said that city attorney John Urner could communicate to the county that the city accepted the flow transfer plan.

Urner assured the council that taxpayers will not pay more under the transfer agreement.
