Arts Express! finale

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Young people who worked with artists during the summer series of ARTS Express! display their works. Continues through Thursday, Aug. 10. F&M Trust, Memorial Square. Feed the Children to deliver food

FREDERICK, Md. -Feed The Children will deliver a tractor trailer filled with food to distribute to Frederick Rescue Mission's Frederick County clients at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11. The Frederick Rescue Mission is distributing vouchers to families who are in need of an emergency food box filled with food for a family of four. On the day of the event, Star, a local motorcycle club, will hand out the boxes.


Motorcycle ride for Muscular Dystrophy

The Chambersburg Chapter of the Harley Owners Group and M&S Harley-Davidson will sponsor the 18th annual Motorcyclist Ride for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event is open to riders of all motorcycle brands. Registration from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the starting point, M&S Harley-Davidson in Chambersburg, where riders also may register for a cruise giveaway - Hogs on the High Seas Caribbean Rally Cruise. The ride will take participants into Maryland and will return to M&S Harley-Davidson for a post-ride party including food and drink vendors, door prizes, vendors, prizes, poker run and entertainment. Minimum entry fee is $15, and all other proceeds will benefit MDA. Other prizes will be awarded to riders who turn in pledges of $20 or more. Call 717-709-9650.
