CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Curtis Eugene Burkett was missing for an 11th day Monday, with Pennsylvania State Police saying they have been unable to confirm that anyone has been in contact with the fugitive.

"We have not received any confirmed contact with him," Trooper Ed Asbury said Monday. "No one has come forward with any personal contact ... No one's heard from him."

Asbury said there has also been no bank account activity that would indicate Burkett's whereabouts.

Burkett, 41, of Mercersburg, Pa., has been missing since the night of July 28, when he was seen driving his camouflage-painted 1980s Ford F-150 pickup truck away from the Longview Campground in Montgomery Township. Witnesses identified Burkett, who was living at the campground, as the man who shot and killed William Zimmerman, 50, a neighbor.

Burkett is also wanted for the shooting death of his estranged wife, Cathy, who was killed the same day at her Garnes Road home. He has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
