Church golf tournament



Christ's Reformed Church in Hagerstown will hold its second golf tournament on Aug. 25 at Black Rock Golf Course. The tournament will be a four-person scramble format with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $75 per player or $260 per foursome and includes a catered meal held at Washington County Regional Park following the tournament.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Aspiring to Serve Community Center.

Halfway Fall Ball



Halfway Little League will start its Fall Ball season this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Halfway Little League.

Little Leaguers in other leagues who do not have Fall Ball and want to play may attend.

The league is for ages 9-12. Advanced 8-year-olds may also play. Cost is $35 per player.
