Adult Day Services offers lunch out



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Adult Day Services will have a LunchOut from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Berkeley Senior Services, 217 N. High St. Caregivers will enjoy a time of sharing support, encouragement and resources with one another, while relaxing with a sack lunch they've brought from home.

This month, Daniel Speis, a social worker with hospice will discuss Reiki, an alternative healing relaxation practice.

Adult care is available for attendees as well as to the community for personal respite. To register, call Kathy McIntyre at 1-304-263-8873, ext. 114.




Flea market on Aug. 12



Manor Church Senior Citizens will hold a flea market Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Manor Church of the Brethren's meeting room, 1551 Manor Church Road, Hagerstown. The event will begin with a covered dish dinner at noon. All senior citizens are welcome.
