BUNKER HILL, W.VA. - One man is dead and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a shooting incident early Saturday outside the Miss Behaven bar, Berkeley County Sheriff's Department deputies said.

Police in West Virginia are investigating whether an incident in Maryland might be related. Washington County Sheriff's Department deputies apprehended four men on Interstate 81 in Maryland in a vehicle matching the description broadcast just minutes after the 3:40 a.m. shooting at the Bunker Hill-area bar, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

"We don't know yet if these are the people we are looking for," Cpl. B.S. Hall in Berkeley County said Saturday afternoon.

Hall said the dead man is believed to be a 25-year-old Martinsburg man. He was waiting for confirmation and notification of next of kin before releasing the man's name.

"One of the remaining two men shot is in serious condition, and the other is in fair condition at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center," Hall said.

All three were shot with a handgun outside the bar, Hall said. Deputies were on the scene most of Saturday trying to identify the shooter or shooters and piece together the reason for the violence.

Meanwhile, Maryland authorities have charged the four occupants of the green Mazda 626 with carrying a concealed weapon after a .380-caliber handgun and a switchblade knife were found in the vehicle, according to the Washington County press release.

The four charged were:

· Joseph Phillip Simes, 23, of 4631 Mount Briar Road in Keedysville. His bond was set at $101,000.

· Raymond Garfield Campbell III, 18, of 1009 Noland Drive, Apt. A in Hagerstown. His bond is $125,000.

· Ernest Eugene Davis Jr., 32, no fixed address. His bond is $75,000.

· Christopher Wade Embry, 22, of 1427 Kensington Drive, Apt. 301 in Hagerstown. His bond is $40,000.
